Design optical interconnection components using wireless infrared techniques

摘要 旋转连接器是一种自由空间动态光互连器件。文章中利用无线红外技术设计了双通道动态光互连器件,分析了该器件的设计原理,测试了在不同情况下器件的传输速率。实验表明:在不同操作系统的计算机之间测试了该旋转连接器的性能,发现数据传输速率与发射计算机的操作系统和接收计算机的操作系统有关。在同一操作系统下,Win2000操作系统数据传输速率最高,为1.437Mb/s。 Optical rotary joint is a free space interconnection component. A dual channel optical rotary joint is designed using wireless infrared techniques. The designing principle of the optical interconnection component is analyzed. The transmission rate of optical signals were measured under different conditions which the computers have either the same operating system or different operating system. The experimental results indicate that the practical transmission efficiency of optical rotary joint relates to the operating systems of the transmitter and receiver. The effective transmission rate under Win 2000 is the highest, 1.437 Mbps, in the same operating system.
