海上救助:凸现政府的责任与能力

S&R at sea demonstrates governmental responsibility and ability

以“关爱生命,爱护海洋,打造平安交通,共建和谐社会”为主题的“2006年海上联合搜救演习”,6月22日在大连渤海海峡遇岩附近水域举行。本年度的水上搜救演习,恰逢交通部组织搜救越南籍遇险渔船和渔民取得成功之际,得到了社会各界的广泛关注和国务院领导的高度重视,是对我国海上搜救能力的演练和检阅。

The united search and rescue exercise at sea of this year, which is themed at ＂care for life, protect oceans, build safe transport and establish harmonious society＂, took place in the waters of Bohai adjacent to Yuyan, Dalian on 22nd June 2006. This year＇s exercise was done around the right time when Vietnamese fishery vessels and fishermen were saved under suc- cessful organization of MOC, and so gained wide attention from different circles of the society and high regard from leaders of the State Council. The exercise tested and demonstrated the ability of Chinese search and rescue at sea.
