摘要 首先给出本体的基本模型,并介绍了基于RDF的本体描述语言———DAML,然后比较UML与DAML之间的相似性与不同之处,并指出利用UML表示本体模型的关键问题所在,分析Baclawski等人UML扩展模型的不足,最后提出一种新的UML元模型的扩展模型。 An ontology model and a RDF-based ontology web language-DAML are introduced respectively. Then the similarities and differences between UML and DAML are identified. Based on the study, the key problems of using UML to express ontologies are pointed ont. After that, the drawback of a UML extension model by Baclawski is analyzed. At last, a modest extension to the UML infrastructure is proposed. The proposal is backward compatible with existing UML models while enhancing its viability for ontology visualization.
