英语专业课程设置改革与创新人才培养模式

On the Reform of English Major Curriculum Design and Creative Talents’ Cultivation Model

传统英语专业培养模式旨在造就工具型人才，以培养语言技能为主要目标，这样的英语人才已不能满足当今社会发展对英语人才的需求：因此，英语专业课程设置必须进行改革，新的培养目标和培养模式应立足于培养具有创新素质的复合型英语人才。本文论述传统英语专业所面临的问题，探讨何为具有创新素质的复合型英语人才，并有针对性地提出新的课程设置模式，列举改革过程中出现的典型问题以及相应的解决办法，认为具有创新素质的复合型英语人才必将受到用人单位的欢迎，在社会竞争中立于不败之地。

The traditional English major eurrieulurn aims at cultivating students using English as a tool,with the training of language skills as the main objective. However,such graduates can＇ t meet the requirements of the current social development. Therefore, the English major curriculum will have to be reformed and the new cultivation objective should be the training of talents with a strong language ability,a creative quality and specialized professional knowledge. This paper presents the challenges that the traditional English curriculum meets with,defines the above-mentioned talents,suggests a new eurrieulurn, brings forward the typical problems that appear in the process of reform and presents possible solutions. It is believed that creative talents of English will be well received and highly competitive in the society.
