摘要
马相伯是中国近代教育救国论先驱。他倡行的科学与人文并重的教育救国思想,既吸收了教会大学一些人文主义教育传统,又秉承了儒家人文教育精神,并赋予其时代内涵。在近代中国社会变迁中,马相伯的教育救国思想与实践不仅积极回应了启蒙与救亡的时代主题,而且为中国近代大学史提供了一个利用教会教育资源自主创办现代大学的成功范例。
Ma-xiangbo was a pioneer with the thought of developing education to save the country in the modern age. He initiated the thought of valuing science and humanities equally while developing education to save the country. His thought absorbed the tradition of Catholic Jesuitical humanism education as well as inherited the Confucianism humanities spirit, and gave it the ages content. In the modern Chinese social change, Ma-xiangbo's ideal and practice of developing education to save the country not only responded to the ages topic of enlightenment and saving the country, but also provided a successful example of making use of the church education resources to establish modern university for the Chines modern university history.
