摘要
对令牌环局域网时延和通过量进行定量的分忻,给出实际局域网络中占据主要环境的MD分布帧长特性.推导了描述令牌环时延和通过量性能的一系列表达式。依据这些表达式和IBM TOKEN RING的参考数据,绘制了对称环时延和通过量的数值例图,并简介了选择网络参数的方法。这些结果可用于令牌环局域网的系统设计、性能分析和优化组构中。
The delay and throughput of Token Ring's LAN are quantitatively analysed. The figure of MD distribution frame lengths (more essential circumstance in practical LAN) is given. A series of explicit expressions are derived which describe the delay and throughput performances in Token Ring. On the basis of the expressions and IBM TOKEN RING'S reference data, numerical example graphs of the symmetry ring's delay and throughput are drawn, and the method of selecting network parameters is introduced. These results can be applied to system design, analysis and optimizing configuration of Token Ring's LAN.
