Adjustment of Chinese External Economic Policy against International Political Obstacles and External Shocks

作者阐述了发展中大国经济发展过程中更易遭受国际政治压力及外部冲击的原因是发达国家与发展中大国战略意图的非一致性以及发展中大国实物经济与货币经济发展的不平衡性,而发展中大国发展战略的转型滞后是这一压力和冲击内部原因的始作俑者。另外,作者分析了当前中国外部冲击的表现及其与国际政治压力的关系,指出中国对外经贸战略的结构性矛盾是产生国际政治压力和外部冲击的内在深层原因之一,必须及时转型方能为进一步持续发展营造稳定宽松的国际环境。

The author argues that during the economic development process, the developing powers are more vulnerable to international political pressures and external attacks. The reasons include their strategic intentions that are different from those in the developed world as well as the developmental imbalances between the real economy and the monetary economy, while the deep-rooted reason is their delayed transformation of development strategies. The author also analyzes the relationship between China’s external shocks and international political pressures, pointing out that the structural contradictions in Chinese foreign trade strategy are the inner cause for the international political pressures and external attacks. The author concludes that timely transformation will be imperative for creating a stable and comfortable international environment and therefore for realizing further sustainable development.
