The request and present situation of medicine packaging materials were introduced, and the developing trend of medicine packaging materials were discussed. It was put forward that high impermeability materials, antibacterial and selfcleaning materials, environmental protection materials, intelligent materials would be the development emphases of the medicine packaging materials in the future.
