Disequilibrium in China＇s BOP： Features, causes and adjustment

近年来，我国国际收支规模虽不断扩大，但国际收支不平衡的矛盾也日益突出，该文认为，因国内投资明显大于消费引起的内需不足，对外贸易发展格局的不尽合理，以及资本流入和流出的非均衡，是导致国际收支失衡的主要因素。健全和完善国际收支平衡机制，即需要宏观经济的协调配合，切实改变经济增长方式，也需要进一步增加汇率的灵活性，并加快国内资本市场的建设步伐。

With the expanding scale of China＇s balance of payments（BOP） in recent years,the imbalance of the BOP has become increasingly striking, According to this paper, the major reasons for the imbalance are inadequacy in domestic demand due to the excess of investment over consumption, defects in the foreign trade structure,and disequilibrium in capital inflow and outflow. TO improve and complete the mechanisms for the BOP requires not onaly support from macro economic policles and a shift in patterns of economic growth, but also, flexibility in the exchange rate should be further enhanced and of domestic capital markets must be accelerated.
