从30MeV/核子^(12)C离子辐照过的铅靶中分离汞和铊

摘要 用30MeV/核子12C离子辐照天然铅厚靶,使用熔化铅靶一热色谱装置使汞元素从含许多元素产物的铅靶中分离出来。利用“母牛法”,通过液-液萃取周期性地提取出T1。通过观察208Hgβ-衰变子体208Tl的存在,确证新核素208Hg已被合成。 A thick natPb target was bombarded by 30MeV/u 12C ions.The separation of Hg element from Pb and many other elements produced in the reaction was studied by means of a melting Pb target-thermochromatographic device. Using milking method,208T1 daughter from the 208Hg β-decay was separated from Hg samples by liquid-liquid extyaction. Based on the energy of γ-rays emitted by 208T1 and its half-life, it is undoubtedly demonstrated that a new neutron-rich isotope 208Hg has been synthesized.
