On the Translation of TCM-related Terms into English

中医英语翻译应该根据中英两种语言的不同特点及不同的读者群,采用不同的翻译方法,诠释中医术语的精髓,实现跨文化交际。

Focusing on translation theory and cross-cultural communication, the article analyzed some methods and techniques of translating TCM-related terms in English. Applying different translating methods should resy on the differences between Chinese and English; different groups of readers should be taken into consideration. In this way, the quintessence of TCM-related terms can be rendered properly and thus cross-cultural communication will be achieved.
