摘要
简单网络管理协议(SNMP)是目前应用最广泛的网络管理协议。文章设计了一种SNMP代理模拟工具,通过分析设备管理信息库(M IB)文件提供的设备信息、模拟代理和管理软件的通信,实现了对多厂商、多种类设备环境的模拟,满足了网管项目开发和测试过程中的环境需要。
Simple Network Management Protocol （SNMP） is the most popular network management protocol at present. In this paper, we propose an agent simulator for SNMP, which simulates the communication between the agent and the manager through analyzing the device information from the MIB files, thus simulating the multi-manufacturer environment and satisfying the environmental requirement for the development and testing in network management projects.
