On Self-control of Education Quality in Universities

我国大学教育质量监控基本上是以政府监控为主,一贯忽视大学自我评价与自我监控,这样不利于大学的个性化发展。根据国外经验和我国国情,我国高等教育界有必要提高对大学教育质量自我监控的认识。大学教育质量自我监控即大学组织按照自己的标准自觉对其教育质量进行监控,它体现了大学自我维持职能要求,贯穿了全员质量管理思想。为实现教育质量自我监控,大学组织应加强院校研究,制定“本土化”的教育质量标准,并建立相应的监控机制。

Since education quality control of universities has been the work of the government, no jmportance is attached to the selfevaluation and self-control of universities, which is unfavourable for the individualization of universities. Accordingly, it＇s necessary to enhance the self-control on the education quality in universities in China. All-around quality control should be exerted according to the standard established by the universities, which shows self-management and maintenance. Research should also done on the self- control of quality to help to localize the standard and establish a workable system.
