Some objects that generally can’t be combined with the classifier ɡè(个) will appear with ɡè in certain environments. This is a subjective usage of ɡè as the result from its grammaticalization. This paper analyzes the subjective usage of ɡè by adopting the perspective of character-orientedness and dynamic interpretation of meaning in combination.
