摘要
涂层技术是改善高速钢刀具切削性能的最有效方法之一。用磁控溅射离子镀CrAlTiN涂层M2高速钢麻花钻,在干式切削条件下对三种不同强度和硬度材料进行钻削试验,结果表明M2高速钢麻花钻经CrAlTiN涂层后,使用寿命显著提高。但随着被加工材料强度和硬度的提高,钻头寿命提高幅度下降,尤其是钻头重磨后下降幅度更大。因此要充分发挥涂层的作用,必须合理地选择高速钢基体和刀具几何参数。
The coating technology is one of the most effective methods to improve the cutting performance of high-speed steel (HSS) tools. Under dry cutting conditions, the drilling tests were performed on three kinds materials with different strength and hardness with CrAlTiN multicomponent coated M2 HSS twist drills, which was deposited using magnetron sputter ion plating technique. The results show that tool life of CrAlTiN coated M2 HSS twist drills is remarkably improved, but the extent of tool life improved is to fall with the increase of worked material strength and hardness, especially the degressive extent is more after drills again sharpened. In order to make full use of coatings, the HSS substrate and tool's geometry parameters must he optimized.
