摘要
Windows CE是一个功能强大的实时嵌入式操作系统,基于该操作系统的Boot Loader设计在嵌入式应用领域具有非常关键的作用。针对这一问题,文章以基于Xscale PX255处理器进行Windows CE 5.0 Ethernet Boot Loader的设计和实现为例,对Boot Loader的基本概念和架构、开发过程及其编译与安装等具体内容进行了详细的介绍和分析。
Microsoft Windows CE 5.0 is an open, scalable, 32- bit operating system that integrates reliable, real time capabilities. Windows CE Boot Loader implementation makes up an important part of the whole Windows CE development. This paper provides an in-depth look at the basic architecture of Boot Loader as well as the sequence of designing, compiling, installing the Boot Loader, The process described in this paper is based on Intel Xscale PXA255 processor Windows CE 5.0 Ethernet Boot Loader design.
