摘要
在温度为1150~1300℃的冰晶石熔体中,以TiO2为原料、Al为还原剂,制得了含Ti为7.83%~11.80%(质量百分数)的Al-Ti中间合金。讨论了温度、Al2O3加入量及搅拌等参数对Al-Ti合金中Ti含量的影响。研究发现,在石墨坩埚内还原的Al-Ti中间合金,Ti主要以TiAl3和TiC的形式存在;冰晶石熔体中TiO2的添加量相对于金属Al过剩时,会产生爬壁现象。
A process involving in-situ reduction of titanium dioxide with excess aluminum in the presence of cryolite flux has been developed for the preparation of AI-Ti master alloys. It has been found possible to produce Al- (7.83% --11.80% )Ti alloys on holding the charge for l h in the temperature range of 1 150-1 300 ℃. The influence of various process parameters involved during the preparation of Al-Ti master alloy by the reaction of cryolite flux with molten aluminum has been studied in detailed. The results show that Ti presents in the aluminum in the form of TiAI3 and TiC when Al-Ti master alloys were prepared in the graphite crucible. The phenomenon that Al-Ti alloys creep up along the inner wall of the crucible when the TiO2 content in the flux comparatively excess aluminum content has been found.
