Stope ground pressure control is a key issue in an open stope mining process. By geological investigation and comprehensive evaluation of rock stability of the engineering in Jinfeng, sensible measures to control ground pressure,parameters to optimize stope structure and support methods were put forward ,which ensure the stope＇ s safe operation via pressure monitoring during stoping.
