少年儿童自尊发展特点与自身因素关系探微

Study on the Developing Characteristics of Children's self esteem and Their Relations with Children Themselves

采用量表法,对486名小学四、五、六年级和初中一、二年级的少年儿童进行研究,探讨了少年儿童的自尊发展与其自身因素——年级、性别、学业表现的关系。结果表明:(1)少年儿童的年级变化与其自尊发展有显著的联系;小学六年级(或12岁)是少年儿童自尊发展的关键时期,初中一年级(或13岁)是少年儿童自尊发展的转折时期。(2)少年儿童在自尊发展的外表、体育运动、纪律维度有显著差异,女童比男童注重外表;自尊总体水平不存在性别差异。(3)少年儿童的学业表现与自尊发展有显著的联系,学业表现优良的少年儿童有更高的自尊。

Through the study on 486 children in the 4th, 5th, 6th. grade and in junior middle schools, the paper explores the relations between children＇ s self esteem development and the factors in themselves such as grade, gender and academic achivement.
