The concept of product lifecycle management （PLM） is described and its functions are divided rationally. With taking the intelligent capital of management enterprise as a thread, the architecture of PLM system and the relationship between the system and the other application systems of enterprise are analyzed. The basic functions of PLM system and the effect of its enterprise integration development environment are expounded.
