OSRAM Opto Semiconductors, a leader in LED technology, today unveiled another industry first in display applications at the Society for Information Display （SID） 2006 International Symposium. Its latest achievement is a LED illumination source suitable for backlighting a 102- inch LCD TV or panel, making it the largest LED backlighting source ever built in the world.
