All Eight Therapeutic Methods can Expel Pathogen from Superficies

汗法是一种针对表证的治疗法则,为太阳病常规治法,但不是惟一治法,治病应当扶正驱邪,以人为本,通过调节整体机能增加抗御病邪的能力。汗、吐、下、和、清、温、消、补八法皆有解表之功,八法解表充分体现出中医治病的极大灵活性。

The diaphoretic therapy is a method directed against exterior syndrome and is a routine but not the only therapy for Taiyang disorder. In treating, the principle of strengthening vital QI to eliminate pathogenic factors should be followed, the patients should be taken as the foundation of vital function and through regulating the functions of whole body to increase the disease-resistant ability. An the eight therapeutic methods ,diaphoresis, emesis , purgation, mediation, heat-clearing, warming, resolving and nourishing therapy, have the function to expel superficial evils. To expel pathogens from superficies with the eight therapeutic methods expresses thoroughly the extreme flexibility in treating disease with TCM.
