《金匮要略》是最早论述辨证论治的中医经典著作之一,内容广泛,蕴涵深厚。其运用通腑法进行泻热、导滞、逐水。并具体区分燥热、湿热、瘀热、寒积、热积、宿食以及胁下之水、肠间之水、与血互结等与血室之水的不同,采用不同方法治疗。理清法明方效药精,直至今日仍对临证有相当的指导价值。

Jinguiyaolue is one of the earliest classic works of TCM about diagnosis and treatment based on overall analysis of symptoms and signs, the cause and the nature. The contents were very rich. It was used to puring heat, clearing obstruction and removing water by clearing the passgage of Fu.
