受区位因素、自然条件、经济社会发展水平和基础设施状况的影响,广西小城镇发展极不平衡,分布总体上东密西疏,且有明显的沿河流和交通干线及平原分布的特征,并形成四大城镇空间发展区,构成了广西小城镇的网络结构系统;针对小城镇发展腹地特点,不同地区的小城镇发展重点也应有所区别.

Due to the area factor, natural condition, level of the economy, society and the condition of infrastructure influence, the development of the small towns does not balance in Guangxi. The distribution of small towns is dense in the east and sparse in the west. And it has characteristics of being riverain, of main traffics and plains and forms four big development areas of towns in the space and constitutes the network structure of small towns in Guangxi. In accordance with the characteristic of, the small towns different area should adopt difference development.
