郑玄校《仪礼》从今文本字不从古文通假字考

A Research on Zheng Xuan’s Annotating Yi Li According to the Original Word of Contemporary Chinese Instead of the Jia Jie Word of Ancient Chinese

《仪礼》在汉代有今、古文两种本子。郑玄在给《仪礼》作注时,也对今、古文异文作了校勘,或从今文,或从古文。郑玄兼采今、古文的一条重要义例,就是从本字不从通假字:有从今文本字而不从古文通假字者,亦有从古文本字而不从今文通假字者,因为本字更能贴切地表达经义。遍索《仪礼》中郑玄从今文本字不从古文通假字之字例,凡90条,而一一考辨之。

Yi Li had two editions in Han Dynasty, the contemporary edition and the ancient one. When Zheng Xuan annotated Yi Li, he also emendated the difference between them, some work done according to contemporary Chinese and some, ancient Chinese. An important case in point was that Zheng Xuan incorporated contemporary and ancient Chinese in order to use its original word instead of the Jia Jie word （A word used to express another word） ： some items were explained with the original word of contemporary Chinese, and some with the original word of ancient Chinese, for the original word can express the article more accurately. In this article, all the examples of the former case were given, 90 items altogether, and studied, analyzed one by one.
