The principle of applying infrared thermal imaging and neural network is introduced in the paper. And the hardware structure and software design of printed circuit board diagnosis system is also presented. Through the identification of the faults with the neural network analysis that based on temperature difference of the components whose temperature＇s changed, the method reduced considerably the time of the location of faults and the complication of the programs.
