关于我校图书馆期刊资料工作的几点思考

Thoughts'about Periodicals Management In our College Libary

根据读者对图书要求和我校图书馆目前的现状，对今后我校图书馆期刊资料工作提出了４点建议：（１）改变以前“重书轻刊”的观念，加大物力的投入。（２）从学校实际情况出发，制订最优的期刊选购方案，保证藏刊质量。（３）对馆藏期刊进行深度开发，编制二次文献，方便读者利用。（４）改变原有的服务模式，开辟期刊利用的新途径。

According to the readers'demand for books and the practical condition of our library,the author puts forward four proposals on the futare periodicals management:(1)stop prefering books to periodicals,m crease the material resources input;(2)make the best periodical purchase plan,ensure the quality of library holdings;(3)further develop the periodical reservation and draw up secondary documents to help readers consult;(4)Change the old service style,develop new means to make full use of the periodicals.
