The dissertation of graduate student in China at the present time is provided with three characteristics. Firstly, it has had a rapid increase in quantity. Secondly, by way of the literature, the grayness of the dissertation has increasingly been going to drop off. Thridly, the limitation of time has been going to tone top. The characteristics of the management of the dissertation are both that the stress has been laid on the collection, especially in regard to electronic dissertation, and development of the management of the dissertation in future, we would have to speed up the compilation of secondary document. Finally, we would have to perfect the law and regulation in relation to the copyright of the dissertation.
