The paper introduced the present situation and improvement of a sort of beehive - shape coal fired boiler in detail. The paper analyzed some questions about shape - coal fired boiler such as slowly combustion velocity, shortage of eapaeity,difficult to enlarge ,discontinuous using steam of beehive - shape coal fired stearin boiler,reliability of grate and water - cooled furnace beam,ash - deposited and corrosion of heat surface when low load ,influence to boiler operation of tinpot coal . the paper offer the improved method of these questions . Meanwhile the paper recommend two new technology—— strengthen combustion of shape - coal and heat - accumulation steam boiler.
