从方便读者的角度出发,提出多卷书的著录应采取分散著录的方式。而在分散著录中做好提要编制和主题标引工作,可提高多卷书各卷(册)的专指性,大大满足读者的检准率,从而体现以人为本的思想。

The paper puts forward that the descriptive cataloging of multi-volume books, from convenience of reader＇s angle, should abept the way of scattered cataloging, in which capsule summary and subject indexing must be done well, thus it can enhance the indexing specificity of every volume so as to satisfy reader＇s recall and precision as well as embody the idea of man-oriented.
