Nowadays every country in the world is facing ever increasing competition in the global economy. To an overwhelming extent,this competition will involve the mastery and application of new technologies in virtually every field of human endeavor. This report ,National Education Technology Plan 2004 ,was undertaken by the staff of the U.S. department of education in response to a request from Congress for an update on the status of educational technology,from which we can understand the basic thought of American technical education.
