党的先进性建设与党的执政能力,都属于党的自身建设的大范畴,都统一于党的建设新的伟大工程之中。践行“三个代表”重要思想、全面推进党的建设新的伟大工程,一要大力加强党的执政能力建设,二要开展党的先进性建设。这两者并行不悖,相得益彰,辩证统一,共同发展。

We must first strengthen constructing the Party＇ s administrative ability, and secondly develop constructing the advanced character of the Party.
