Paget病是一种骨转换增高的疾病。年龄超过55岁的人群中，2．5％的男性和1．6％的女性在X线片上有该病表现，但仅有1／12的人出现临床症状。也就是说，医师在X线检查时每发现10～20例Paget病病人，其中可能仅有1例或2例有临床症状。
Paget＇s disease is a condition in which there is increased bone turnover. Evidence of the condition is seen on radiography in 2.5 % of men and 1.6% of women over the age of 55 years, but only 1/12 of these suffer symptoms. Thus, though the average general practitioner may have 10-20 patients with radiological Paget＇s disease, only one or two are likely to be symptomatic.
