摘要
对金属间化合物Mg2Si的研究进展进行了综述,重点对Mg2Si的性质及其基础研究和Mg2Si的应用研究现状进行了论述。研究表明:虽然在Mg2Si热电性能方面的研究取得了很多突破,但它的热电转换效率仍然偏低;在结构材料的应用研究方面,Mg2Si除了和更具优势的材料复合提高其韧性和高温性能以外,另一个值得研究的方向就是将Mg2Si熔覆或喷涂在其他合金的表面,如Al、Mg合金等。另外熔体浸渗也是一种非常有希望改善Mg2Si脆性的方法。
Research progress of intermetallic compound Mg2Si is reviewed with focusing on its properties, fundamental researches and applications. Although a great deal of breakthroughs is made in thermoelectric properties of Mg2Si, the efficiency of thermo-electric transformation is still low. In application studies of structural materials, in addition to improving its toughness and high temperature properties through its combining with other superior materials, Mg2Si is also clad or sprayed on surface of alloys like AI and Mg etc. Another very promising method to improve brittleness of Mg2Si is melt infiltration.
