张关:新农村建设的“立交模式”

The "Holistic Model" Formed by Zhangguan New Rural Area

张关镇,是重庆渝北区的一个山区小镇。1998年,镇党委政府明确提出了建设社会主义新农村的奋斗目标,对建设社会主义新农村进行了积极的实践和探索,并取得了初步成效,农村面貌发生了巨大变化。“变化是全方面的,发展是立体的、协调的、有机结合的,同时,它又是科学的。”一个包含了“生产发展,生活富裕,乡风文明,村容整洁,管理民主”为内涵的社会主义新农村建设的“立交模式”凸现在欣欣向荣的巴渝大地。

Zhangguan Town is a small town among the mountains in Yubei District of Chongqing. In 1998, the Party Committee and e govenmaent of the town set up a definite goal of constructing a new socialistic country, then explored actively the way to realize the goal and finally achieved preliminary achievements. Thus, the face of the countryside has been changed in a dramatic way. ＂The changes are in an all-round way and the development is three-dimensional, harmonious, integral as well as scientific＂. Across the prosperous Ba-Yu land, a ＂holistic model＂ for building a new socialistic countryside has been formed, which contains the connotations of ＂developed production, wealthy life, civilized rural atmosphere, tidy village appearance and democratic management.＂
