Objective: To explore the correlation between blood lipids, blood sugar and blood pressure in cases with high blood pressure.Method: The Cho-C, TG, LDL-C, HDL-C, apoA, apoB, blood sugar and blood pressure(SBP & DBP) of 482 cases with high blood pressure and 100 normal healthy people (the control group) were detected and analyzed statistically. Results: The Cho-C, TG, LDL-C and blood sugar in the high blood pressure group were significantly higher than that of the control group (P<0.05~0.01). There was a positive correlation between Cho-C and blood sugar (P<0.05).There was also a positive correlation between TG and Blood sugar、SBP、DBP respectively. Conclusion: The results suggested that abnormal metabolism of fat and sugar exist in the cases with high blood pressure. Both the level of and blood sugar and TG are positively correlated with blood pressure.
