摘要
基于磁致旋光介质的法拉第磁光效应,设计了一种光纤电流传感器。核心部件采用了Ga:YIG磁光晶体。通过实验测试,得到其在室温下的维尔德系数为550rad.T-1.m-1,是普通YIG晶体的50多倍。预期通过进一步的完善,该装置能够用于电力系统中大电流的实时测量。
Novel fiber-optic current sensor based on the Faraday Magneto-Optic effect with a hardcore of Ga: YIG crystal was designed. And, the test results show that the Verdet coefficient of Ga:YIG at room temperature is 550 rad · T^-1 · m^-1 ,which is about 50 times large than that of normal YIG crystal. It is expected that by further improving, the device can be used in real time measurement of large current in electric power system.
