“一国社会主义”问题是国际共运史的一个悬案。上个世纪八十年代以来,我国学者围绕与这一问题有关的四大主题进行了深入研究:马克思的“同时发生”论与列宁的“一国胜利”论是否对立;列宁是否提出“一国建成社会主义”的思想;斯大林“一国建成社会主义”的标准问题;斯大林“一国建成社会主义”论与斯大林模式的关系及评价。“一国社会主义”问题不仅关系到对马克思、列宁社会主义革命理论的解读,更关系到对“什么是社会主义”这个根本理论问题的不同理解,深入研究“一国社会主义”问题有重大理论和实践意义。

‘Socialism in One Country＇ is an outstanding issue in the history of the international communist movement. Since the 1980s Chinese scholars have been engaged in four main lines of research concerning this topic ： whether or not Marx＇ s theory of ＇ Simultaneous Occurances＇ and Lenin＇ s theory of ＇One Country＇s Advantage＇ are in opposition; whether or not Lenin put forth the idea of ＇One Country Building Socialism＇ ; problems in the standard of Stalin＇ s One Country Building Socialism＇ ; and the relation between and evaluation of Stalin＇ s theory of ＇ One Country Building Socialism＇ and Stalin＇ s models. The topic of ＇ Socialism in One Country＇ does not only touch upon the interpretation of Stalin and Lenin＇s revolutionary thought, but even more fundamentally raises the question of ＇What is socialism？＇ Therefore, a deep investigation of ＇Socialism in One Country＇ has important theoretical and.practical applications.
