Internet, today’s Global Information Infrastructure, is the hot spot of network de-velopments and applications. Internet address space becomes an increasingly limiting resource withmore and more hosts connected to Internet. Besides, the demands for multimedia transportation, flex-ible routing, security, reasonable accouting model, mobility and IP over ATM are presented,which aredealed with by IP Next Generation. i. e.,IP Version 6.0.
