摘要
采用质量比为1∶1的十八烷基三甲基氯化铵与6-氨基己酸的混合溶液对蒙脱土进行复合有机化改性处理,制得层间距为1.83 nm的新型有机蒙脱土(OMMT),利用熔融共混法在双螺杆挤出机上制备了尼龙6-OMMT复合材料(简称复合材料),研究了OMMT含量对复合材料的机械性能和热性能的影响。通过X射线衍射、透射电子显微镜技术对复合材料的微观结构进行了表征。实验结果表明,与纯尼龙6相比,加入质量分数4%的OMMT后的复合材料的拉伸强度、弯曲强度和热变形温度分别提高了27.8%,37.2%,22℃;但缺口冲击强度和熔体流动指数有所下降。
Montmorillonite was modified by treating with a complex of octadecyl trimethyl ammonium chloride and 6-amino-caproic acid to obtain a new organophilic montmorillonite (OMMT) with 1.83 nm interlayer space. Nylon 6-OMMT composites were prepared by melt intercalation in twin- screw extruder. Effects of different content of OMMT on mechanical and thermal properties of obtained composites were studied. Microstructure of obtained composites was investigated by means of X-ray diffraction and transmission electronic microscope. The experimental results show that tensile strength, flexural strength and thermal distortion temperature of nylon 6 increase by 27.8% ,37.2% and 22℃, respectively by adding 4% (mass fraction)of OMMT, but the notched impact strength and melt index decrease.
