On the Influences of Chinese Classical Poetry upon Kenneth Rexroths Poems

多年来,肯尼斯·雷克思罗斯一直在翻译、研究中国古典诗歌。这些中文诗歌对他的创作产生了重要影响。他在创作实践中,不仅尝试运用中国诗歌的创作技法,还表现出一定的中国古典的文化精神。本文在研究雷克思罗斯与中国诗歌的渊源的基础上,对其诗歌进行了分析,探究中国诗歌对其创作的影响。

Kenneth Rexroth translated and studied Chinese classical poems for many years, ne experimented with some Chinese poetic techniques and manifested Chinese classical cultural spirit in his writing. By analyzing some of Rexroth＇s poems which were the direct products of his deliberate imitations of Chinese poems, this paper tries to explore the influences of Chinese poetry upon his writing.
