摘要
词汇习惯组合搭配及固定用法,即词汇单位在英语学习中有重要的作用和意义,其重要性甚至在第二语言学习的语言学研究上引发了一个新的流派:词汇组合搭配学习法(L ex ica l approach)相对于传统的语法学习法,其主要观点认为,搭配好的词汇单位才是语言的根本。本文主要探讨词汇搭配的语言学属性和社会文化特点及该模式在英语教学中的可行性。
In second language learning and teaching, there has been increasing interest in recent years in the function and significance of lexical collocations or "chunking". Indeed, a new approach in linguistics on the basis of chunking theory has been developed : the lexical approach in reaction to the traditional grammar-based approach. This approach states that lexis is the basis of language. This paper intends to briefly explore the application of the approach in English learning among Chinese students in terms of linguistics and socio-cultural characteristics of lexis, and lexical transferability between Chinese and English.
