Treatment of femoral neck fracture with AO hollow screw

目的:评价AO空心螺钉内固定治疗股骨颈骨折的疗效。方法:对32例股骨颈骨折患者采用闭合复位(28例)或切开复位(4例)加AO空心螺钉内固定治疗。结果:所有患者均获随访8～38个月(平均22个月),2例于手术后20个月与26个月出现股骨头坏死,后行半髋置换。1例出现髋内翻畸形。无深部感染及螺钉松动断裂等并发症。总优良率88%。结论:AO空心螺钉内固定治疗股骨颈骨折疗效确切,但内固定操作必须遵循AO空心螺钉的滑动加压原理。

Objective To evaluate effect of treating of femoral neck fracture with AO hollow screw. Methods Among 32 cases of femoral neck fracture, 28 cases were treated by close reduction and 4 cases were treated by open reduction with AO hollow screw. Results All the patients were followed up for 8 ~38months （average 22 months）. Two cases developed necrosis of femoral head at the twentieth month and the twenty-sixth month after operation, which took hemiarthroplasty later. One case developed coax vara. All 32 cases had no complications, such as deep infection, screw cinch and screw breakage. The excellent rate was 88%.Conclusion The operative method with AO hollow screws on treating the patients with femoral neck fracture is effective, but the internal fixation should be performed accordingly.
