论大学英语教学中语言文化内容的渗透

On the Integration of College English and Culture Teaching

语言是文化的组成部分,反映了文化的需要;但语言不能超越文化背景而独立存在。了解语言文化是学好英语的关键。因此,大学英语教师应该结合教材,加强对学生的语言文化教育,把语言文化渗透到英语教学的各个环节。

Language reflects what the culture needs, which is the most important element in culture. However, language cannot exist dependently without the cultural background. Since culture is very essential in learning English, the English teachers at colleges should introduce culture teaching into the process of English learning.
