This book discusses the whole process of urban design systemically. By focusing on the analysis of stages of design, it succeeds in adopting a broad understanding of urban design. The authors state the focusing idea that urban design is the process of making better places for people than would otherwise be produced, and care about the dimensions of urban design of which are morphological, perceptual, social, visual, functional and temporal dimension.
