摘要
西泽立卫的名字对于中国建筑师来讲并不陌生,但在以前,这个名字一直是与妹岛和世一起出现的。西泽成立自己的工作室时间不长,自然作品也不多。西泽作品中最令人感兴趣的地方在于建筑师对待空间的态度和考察空间的方式。空间对于建筑师来讲,有着永远说不完的话题。每一位建筑师都在用自己的方式从不同的角度去研究空间,发掘空间,体验空间。按照五十岚太朗的说法,西泽考察空间的方式是很有独创性的,他仿佛站在一架变焦相机的背后,不断调整变焦,不断改变放大缩小倍数,从而观察到别样的、丰富多彩的空间状态。这一期杂志由两部分内容构成,前一部分介绍了日本青年建筑师西泽立卫的作品概况。后一部分是2002年秋哈佛大学设计研究生院北京城市设计课的学生作业。清华大学建筑学院的许懋彦老师协助我们完成了前半部分内容的组稿工作,在此特别致谢。
