摘要
本单元的任务是探索各种途径去发现那些建筑学中最本质的要素,如想像力、复杂性以及所产生的普通“空间结构”,而且没有对现有建筑、尺度和文脉给予优先的考虑.产生这些结构的基本设计是一种虚构环境中游戏类的结构,一种虚构的地形,像Andre Breton’s优雅的废弃物那样,这块“用地”由八块A2大小的夹板组成,每块版有九层,可在为期两周多的时间内在五个小组之间轮换。
The work of the unit seeks architectural invention via strategies the, initially establish imaginary, complex, and generic "spatial structures" without prier consideration of precedent, scale, or context. The primary device to produce such structures is the game-like construction of a fictional environment, Topographical Fiction. As Andre Breton's exquisite corpse, this "site" is comprised of 8 A2 panels, each with 9 layer, and was rotated among 5 teams over a two weeks period.
