Body as textural details of the city After an initial period of research into materials of industry in London, the unit was joined by Tadashi Kawamata for a collaborative project, ＇Lodging London/Tokyo＇.The project became not so much a search for comfort, as an opportunity to place the body in a more potent relation to the familiar - to lodge it within a piece of micro-architecture made of materials that had been washed up on the shores of consumption.
