For over a decade SWA has provided comprehensive master planning services for this nationally recognized 4,700-acre new town located on land near the foothills of California＇s San Joaquin Valley. Envisioned as a model of sustainability and ＂smart growth,＂ the new town is designed to provide： 1） a balance of jobs, housing and community services; 2） financial structure to pay as it grows; 3） mitigation of traffic impacts due to the internal balance of jobs and housing; and 4） a location near existing job centers and transportation facilities.
