摘要
从光的角度来看，我们这个星球上存在着两个世界：一个属于白昼，另一个属于夜晚，它们在我们的生命中占据同等重要的地位。在人们未能取得掌控”光”的能力以前，当太阳的最后一抹余辉消失在地平线下之后，漫漫的黑暗随之而来。第一次成功的人工取火照亮了人类文明的历程，然而直到数千年后电灯的出现才使得人们真正成为夜晚的主宰。从此暗夜不再意味着活动的停滞，反而给予了这个世界阳光下看不到的精彩，成为照明设计展现其激情和魅力的舞台。
Viewed by lights, there exist two world on our planet, one belongs to daylight, the other one belongs to night. The two world plays the same important role in our life. Before mankind gained the ability to control ＂light＂, after sunset the world would be turned into long darkness. Only thousands of years later, when electric light was invented, could people be the master of nights. From then on nights never means freeze of activities, on the contrary nights present us a wonderful woorld which could not be found under sunshine. Thus, the world in night has already been changed to a stage for Illuminating design.
